Live from a hick town in Wisconsin...

These five pictures are from our daytrip to Redgranite WI on Sunday. These REALLY SCARY kids are outside of an ice cream joint in Wautoma called Milty Wilty. Personally I think these kids are enough of a reason to NOT eat there...a few years back when a tornado hit Wautoma, trees were felled everywhere but these kids survived. Even Mother Nature is scared of them.
This and the next picture are from the prison outside of Redgranite. Don't worry, you don't have to tell me twice.
If this is the amount of barbed wire on a minimum security prison, I'd hate to see the amount of barbed wire on a maximum security prison!
This wayside is the ONLY thing between Redgranite and Wautoma...I know, classy.
These snowmen are out all year round. Talk about weird.

Bunny cakes!

Here are the bunny cakes that I made for Easter. Yes, I made them (almost) by myself. I did all the decorating (except the pink frosting in the ears, my mommy did that), and I made the chocolate cake batter (but my mommy had to make the white cake batter, because it required separating an egg, and who wants to do that!?!?!). Then I also turned the remaining white and chocolate batter into a marble cake. I'm just so talented, I amaze myself. Heehee.

Cas Bowling Fun!

The following are pictures from our teams bowling night. Everyone in the department was invited, so there were quite a few of us, plus dates. It was good times all around.
This picture is fairly pointless, except that there is Jerrod in the stripes, Dave (my supervisor)'s head, and some random arm (maybe Jon, another sup).
Mary doing her dance of joy at getting, um, I don't know. Probably a strike.
That's another random group shot. The chick with the white tank top is BW (butt-wipe), formerly known as Stacy. Stacy and I had a one-sided carpool to work for the last nine weeks...
This is me & Andy. Note how I am trying not to look at the camera. That is because Spits is taking the picture (see Spits below). Kind of creepy. But anyway.
That would be Spits McGee. Don't ask.
This picture cracks me up because Mary looks like she's dancing on a bar and about to fall off, but really, it's just a step.
Random people...Courtney (green), Megan (black), Kathy (white), Mary (pink).

Huhwhat? No, I don't think Kathy knows what she's making the face at either. Marie is on the far right, Jack is in the blue shirt, Craig in the red, and Andy with his arms up in the air.

This is Megan and Kathy. I think that may have been the Corona beer with which Megan tried to win a prize with in the Budweiser contest...no, she didn't win any prizes.

This is Kattie, one of the team leads. Great picture, huh?? I'm sure she'd be thrilled if she knew it was on the internet. Heehee.

S'mores!

No, not the graham-cracker, marshmallow and chocolate camp snack...S'mores is the name of my cat!!
Yes, I finally decided on a name for el-cat-o!!
So, here's a lot of pictures of my cat, I know, I'm slightly obsessed but I love my cat and I love taking pictures of her. Almost as much as she hates being photographed. Whoops...
But yes, she's a cute little tortoiseshell, she eats a lot, like to hide under the bed, and play with feathers. And aside from a slight problem of her peeing in a shoebox (no shoes, thank goodness!), she's well trained. And she doesn't bite. At least, not very much. :)
So, here's my cat. Yay S'mores!

Kitties!

Here's my parents obnoxious Nermal-esque kitten named Izzy. She tries to get into just about everything, randomly attacks invisible things, carpets and your leg. She also enjoys long walks on the beach and meeting other kittens on the Internet...
This is a rare moment between Izzy (left) and our other, older cat, Mouse. Mouse just absolutely LOVES Izzy (do you sense sarcasm?)...because who wouldn't love a little shrimp who comes into your house, chases after you and attempts multiple chomps on your jugular???
I think that's one of the first days that my parents had Izzy. Damn was that cat TINY! Note the proportions of my cat in comparison to my sister's purse. Yikes...talk about watching your step!
This is my baby the day we had to put her down. *sniffle sniffle, tear...*
Luckily, my dad thought to take the picture so you can only see the left side of her face, rather than the huge ass tumor growing on the right side of her mouth.
I still miss my Bear....:(

And now for a virtual tour...

The following are a number of pictures that were taken on the day I moved into my apartment! Yay for growing up! Yay for an apartment.....
btw, mins is the upper window on the left side....
And now, presenting: Lauren's Apartment!
*insert applause here*
And ladies and gentlemen, this is the door.
The dining area...not so much dining is done is here as the table (seen previously in the living room) is now in the dining room, and is consequently covered in stuff. Not food stuff either, mind you. So much for the dining room.
This is me in my living room on moving day. Pretty much everything in the room has now been moved to a different location in the room...the table is in the dining room area, the papasan is behind the couches, there's a couch and a loveseat, the TV isn't on the entertainment center because that was too high up, the entertainment center isn't in that corner any more because of the Christmas tree (see below)...and yes, I know it's february. And my tree is still up. Maybe I should get heart ornaments because it's almost Valentines day, and then I can delay the taking down of the Christmas tree even longer...
Aww, my tree is so cute. Too bad it's February....
Ta-da! The master bedroom. It's not messy yet, but it also doesn't have my down comforter on the bed either. It's also a lot bigger than it looks...and I have two closets! TWO! And they're just for me! The bedroom looks much more lived in now, obviously, as this was moving day....
This is my bathroom. Real intresting. It's much more messy now. And that's about all.
This is my car port...really interesting, right? I know. That's me in my car - the little silver Mazda. I'm giving my parents a jump start right now, because we took the the minivan along with my car and the moving van, and the minivan hadn't been used since approximately May 15...or better known as graduation day. Yeah, it was struggling. I think that was the third jump we gave it over the course of moving weekend...

Pictures galore!! Gotta love bowling...or not bowling, as the case was!

Mary, Courtney and myself...don't know what's going on. Yay drinking (note the smirnoff in my hands)! (and I wasn't the youngest! I wasn't the youngest!!!)
Like I said, hats were big...Katie, Courtney & Megan.
There's Katie, Courtney & Kathy...I don't know what the deal is with the hat...oh, hats were so big on Friday....
That's Mary in her snotty scarf...and me looking stupid behind her. Oh, how I hate when people take pictures without warning.

This is us being retarded on the dance floor in front of the karaoke stuff. That's the back of my head. 'Cause I know that's super interesting.
So, behind the group is a guy with a packers sweatshirt on, and next to him is a short chick (not me, thanks!). Okay, so the funny thing is that Andy was like "that chick looks like a total slut!" and I was like, okay, uhh whatever. Apparently, she's my apartment manager...whoops!
(she's actually really nice. besides, a lot of people look slutty when they dance. heehee)

Okay, this is actually the whole group at the bowling alley last week. We didn't do any bowling 'cause they didn't reserve us any lanes. But who cares?? I stink at bowling, so it just made things better....
Front: Erin, Megan
Middle: Stacy, Fawn, Katie, me!!
Back: Kathy, Mary, Courtney & Stacie

The first round!!!

So, picture number one...that's part of the group. From the left: Courtney, Katie, Kathy, Megan, Mary, Stacie and Erin.

Testing...1...2...4!

Okay, so I can be pretty lame, but hey, that happens right?
I've decided to expand my horizons and start a photo-blog, frankly because I'm tired of the confinements of yahoo photos. Not that I don't like yahoo photos, but they don't leave me enough space for the commentary that I usually like to put with my pictures.
So, once I get Hello! programmed to post to this blog, and once I figure out where to start, I will post my pictures. Huzzah, and all that jazz...
